In 2010, ALL OF US in the Municipalities of Panorama, Pilea and Hortiatis joined our forces and history to embark on a new common path towards the future.
Despite the difficult economic and social circumstances in the country, we have set ambitious goals and have high expectations. Our actions have been guided by the needs of society and our people. Every project has been planned solemnly and realistically. We have made the most of considerable resources from the European union. And we have turned the crisis into an opportunity doing our very best for our native land and responding creatively to the challenges of today.
Our municipality is blessed with incontestable natural beauty: azure sea, green forests, and an impressive mountain and hill landscape. It has monuments that reflect a glorious history and stories of heroism and martyrdom. It also has a rich cultural tradition. And at the same time it is one of the most modern, livable and human cities in Europe. It boasts large-scale infrastructure works, daily urban interventions, extensive school and sports infrastructure, cultural projects and programmes, and policies of social care and sensitivity, while respect for the environment is a top priority for local growth. This edition represents an effort to capture the most important elements of the history and present-day reality of our municipality. It shows the journey of this part of Greece through time and also the result of our everyday efforts. Moreover, it is a small token of our hospitality and appreciation for each and every visitor of our municipality.
